2.3 Two-Way Connections

Description

Two-way connections are audio connections (lines) where audio flows bidirectionally (two-way arrow).

Use two-way connections to converse with students and group them in conversation with each other.

Instructions for making a two-way connection are detailed on pages 4 and 5 of the DiLL Teacher's Guide. A reproduction is provided below:

Recap:

  • Click-and-drag a line between two people in Lab Controller to create a two-way connection
  • Use two-way voice connections to speak with students and group them in conversation
  • End a voice connection by moving your mouse over the line and snipping it to end the connection
  • Use voice connections to create different voice activities. Be creative!
