Description

DiLL provides teachers with the ability to lock student computer's to just the DiLL application or nothing at all. Use these features to keep the class on task or to provide a "clean" test environment.

Instructions for locking student screens are detailed on pages 20 and 21 of the DiLL Teacher's Guide. A reproduction is provided below:

Recap:

  • All students have access to "All Applications" by default
  • Lock student computers to "DiLL Only" to limit students to just the DiLL Client
    • Pair "DiLL Only" with a synchronized task for a distraction-free testing environment
  • Lock student computers to "Nothing" to lock their screens entirely
    • Pair "Nothing" with the Randomly Group feature to create a "guess your partner" listening/speaking activity
