Description

The All Call mode allows instructors to broadcast their voice to the entire class. Existing conversations are temporarily disconnected while the All Call mode is in effect, forcing the entire class to listen to the instructor.

Instructions for making a classroom announcement are detailed on page 6 of the DiLL Teacher's Guide. A reproduction is provided below:

Recap:

  • Toggle the All Call button to make an announcement to the entire class
    • Existing conversations are temporarily disconnected while the All Call mode is active, but restored when the instructor ends the All Call
  • Lock student screens while using All Call to command students' attention
  • Use All Call with a recording-only task to provide students with live prompts to respond to and record against
